“I arranged a meeting with residents and Mr Richard Lynds of Post Office Ltd after residents contacted me with concerns about the relocation of Moxley Post Office. Some residents welcomed the relocation and others were opposed to the move. However, there was a strong consensus that a Postbox should be installed so that residents can post letters when the Post Office is closed.”
“After the meeting I wrote to Royal Mail to ask for a Postbox to be installed outside Moxley Post Office on Kendrick Road. I am delighted to say that I have now received confirmation that a Postbox will be installed. I have today written again to Royal Mail to ask that the work takes place as soon as possible.”
“This is great news. Having a Postbox outside the Post Office will make life more convenient for residents as they are now able to post letters outside Post Office opening times. This shows what can be done when we work together.”
