Valerie responds to a motion on the Parliamentary Works Sponsor Body

On Wednesday 22 April 2021 I replied on behalf of HM Opposition to a motion which changed a member of the Parliamentary Works Sponsor Body, which is responsible for overseeing the restoration and renewal of the House of Commons. You can read my speech below: 

“I thank the Leader of the House for outlining the work that is going to be undertaken on the Sponsor Body, I thank the hon. Member for Edinburgh East (Tommy Sheppard) for all the work he has done, and I wish the hon. Member for Aberdeen North (Kirsty Blackman) well in her future work.”
