On Thursday 21 August 2014, Valerie visited Great Barr Park to see the site of a planning application by Bovis Homes.
Valerie said:
“There has been a lot of interest in the issue of landscaping on Great Barr Park by Bovis Homes. This issue was first raised with me 2 years ago and I made representations at the time to Walsall MBC.”
“I understand that Bovis have committed to landscape an area of Great Barr Park, north of Suttons Drive for use by residents of the Netherhall Estate. I hope that Bovis will deliver this commitment as soon as possible.”
“While I was at Great Barr Park I noticed a flower which may be an orchid. I would be keen to hear from anyone who is able to identify it.”
